If you'd be willing to borrow from others too, add 2 more. 9. Successful business people put long-term and short-term goals in writing. If you tend to write down your goals and dreams, add 1. If you don't, subtract 1. 10. How are you at handling your personal finances? If you keep good records and balanced books for your personal finances, you will be more likely to make a successful transition to managing a business.
